On 26th September, we held the S1 Parents Evening to welcome parents of our new S1 students. The evening was designed to support families as their children embark on their secondary school journey.
Social workers shared valuable insights on how to address students' needs during this important transition, offering practical advice to help parents support their children's adjustment to secondary school life. In addition, several PTA Executive Members, together with their children, visited each class to share their personal experiences in parenting and learning. Their heartfelt sharing was deeply appreciated by parents, who found the session both meaningful and reassuring.
S1 class teachers also met with parents to share updates on how their children had settled in during the first month of the school year, providing a helpful overview of the students' progress and adjustment.
The evening served as a wonderful platform for building strong home-school partnerships and ensuring that parents feel supported as their children begin this new chapter.
