On 18th July, the PTA successfully organised the annual Second-Hand Book and Uniform Sale, a cherished event that promotes the culture of reuse and recycling while bringing our school community closer together.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for parents to purchase quality second-hand textbooks and school uniforms at affordable prices, reducing waste and encouraging sustainable practices. Beyond the environmental benefits, the sale also served as a lively gathering point for parents to connect and share valuable parenting and learning tips.

A particularly special highlight of the day was the student-run booths, where students took the lead in selling their own used textbooks. This hands-on experience allowed them to develop essential life skills, including communication, organisation, and customer service, as they interacted with fellow students and parents. It was a meaningful opportunity for them to build confidence and learn the value of responsibility and initiative.

We are delighted to see such enthusiastic participation from our parent community and students alike. Events like this not only strengthen our sense of togetherness but also reflect our shared commitment to sustainability and holistic education.
